About Institution

The Pitambara College of Nursing is a pioneer modern institute for nursing education offering GNM programs. It is managed by Prem Narayan shikha Prasar avam Paryavarn Samiti Gwalior Registerd society (Reg. No.) aiming at to provide best qualified nursing professionals to look after and take care of people. With the theme of “Evolving Avenues", the institute is committed to provide best world class and qualitative nursing education to all students.

The Pitambara College of Nursing was established in 2011 and initially GNM Programs were formulated to train young generation as professional nurses for meeting health needs of the States & Country. The institute is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

At Pitambara College of Nursing we firmly believe in training individuals to become professional’s nurses so as to meet the great challenges of services in the field of Nursing. Education is the fundamental element for complete development of an individual and as a prime teaching institute, we endeavour to harness this inherent potential though meeting the growing needs of nursing education. We strive towards providing Nursing education that is scientific, modern and complete in order to prepare skilled and highly competent nurses ready to face the challenges of modern health care anywhere in the world. We focus on all round development of student with special emphasis on intellectual, cultural and spiritual growth preparing them to be effective change agents in dynamics of social evolvement.

Furthermore, the college believes in a system of nursing education that fits in with the changing education patterns of the country to meet the health needs of the society. We are committed to provide best nursing education for personal as well as professional upliftment of all nursing students.

• To administer and maintain Hospitals in public interest.
• To work for the welfare of the orphan Children and to make arrangement of their education and training.
• To work for rehabilitation, training and self employment of the orphans, widows and divorced women.
